Practicing Alignment in an AI World

A free live online workshop exploring how to stay grounded, thoughtful, and values-aligned as AI reshapes work and society.

March 26 • 60 minutes • Live on Zoom

Artificial intelligence is changing how we write, research, create, and make decisions. But the deeper challenge is not simply learning to use these tools — it’s learning how to engage them without losing the qualities that make our work thoughtful and meaningful.

Most conversations about AI focus on productivity, automation, or efficiency.

But many people — especially those working in education, the arts, nonprofit leadership, and research — are asking a deeper question:

How do we engage these tools without losing our judgment, creativity, and values?

Questions We’ll Explore

Many people are experimenting with AI while quietly wondering:

• When does using AI support thoughtful work — and when does it begin to replace our own thinking?
• What might ethical or values-aligned use of AI look like in our own fields?
• How can AI serve as a reflective partner rather than simply a productivity engine?

This workshop creates space to explore these questions together.

In this session we will:

• Explore thinking about AI beyond productivity and automation
• Learn alignment practices that support thoughtful and intentional use of AI
• Explore ways AI can function as a thought partner rather than an answer machine
• Reflect on how to stay connected to our values, creativity, and judgment in a rapidly changing technological landscape

Who This Workshop Is For

This workshop may be especially helpful if you:

• are experimenting with AI but want to do so thoughtfully
• feel curious but uneasy about how these tools might shape thinking or creativity
• work in education, nonprofit leadership, research, or creative fields
• want space to reflect on how to engage AI without losing your voice or judgment
